Pneumonia :-(
Jun. 1st, 2006 12:20 amIt has been brutally hot and muggy here for the past few days, with highs in the low 90s. I haven't been working, in spite of having a backlog of work that needs to be done. Instead, I have been spending a lot of time in my back yard, right here:

"How can you justify doing this instead of working?" you ask. ... Well, I have to rest up because I have pneumonia. Actually, my doctor wasn't sure whether it is a moderate case of pneumonia, or a bad case of bronchitis. The treatment is the same either way though, ...a heavy course of antibiotics. Since I don't have health insurance, my doctor was willing to forego the chest x-ray that would have put an exact name to my condition. He also skipped the x-ray of my jaw to check for a hairline fracture, ...but maybe I should start at the beginning: ( Read more... )
