Take a Trip in my Kitchen
Mar. 12th, 2008 12:19 amThose of you who have known me for a while know that I like antiques. One of the things I like to collect is antique enamelware. Enamelware has been produced for about 150 years, and was found in almost every kitchen a few generations ago. It is still being produced today, with much of it being imported from China. Over the years, I have picked up both antique and modern enamelware in a variety of colors and forms. Some of it gets used regularly in my kitchen, and some of it just decorates the shelves.
So, get out your bell-bottoms and rainbow shades, and take a psychedelic trip into my kitchen!! ...no LSD required!!!

My kitchen. The "New Process" stove dates from 1926, the scale was patented in 1884. The dishwasher just got installed a few weeks ago.
