Backyard Surprise

I saw this ring-necked pheasant in my back yard yesterday evening!! (Sorry that the photo is a bit grainy.) I live in a city neighborhood, just a 12 minute walk from the center of downtown Syracuse, not out in the country.

I am always amazed at the ammount and variety of wildlife in my neighborhood!
