Return of Restoman
Feb. 17th, 2013 04:09 pmI am back online after dealing with computer issues. My PC was hit with a nasty virus, the "FBI Trojan". None of my computer savvy friends were able to remove it. After several weeks, I found a local tech who could do the job. He came to the house and had the virus removed in 5 minutes, but discovered that there was deeper damage. He recommended replacing my hard drive with a new one whose speed would be better matched to the other components in the system. I agreed to that and also asked him to recover the photo files from my old computer (going back almost 10 years), and the photo files from my first (lightning-fried), and second (virus-ravaged), hard drive in the new computer. He was able to do all that and had the computer back to me in 2 days. So, now I have access to several thousand of my photos, some of which I have not seen in years!!!
To celebrate this event, and help me get back into the habit of posting here again, I will post at least 1 photo per day for the next week.

This is Crouse College, the music school building at Syracuse University. It was built in Romanesque style in 1888 on a hilltop overlooking the city of Syracuse. It is a very handsome building with spectacular Victorian stained glass windows, and Oak woodwork inside.
