Second daily post

It was very cold today. Mark and I spent the day working in the workshop, beginning construction of a large china cabinet for a customer. With the wood stove going all day, the temperature in the shop got up to 48 degrees (8 C.) by midafternoon. Brrrrr


Adam was quite comfortable, curled up, with his head on the stove hearth.



I took this photo in September of 2011 while hiking on a trail through a forest of Beech trees on Cape Cod. I was enchanted by this beautiful little grove of trees.
